State-Specific IEP Blueprints

COMING SOON

In my work as an attorney and writer, I’ve met countless parents and guardians who are confused about how the IEP process works, including how to enforce their child’s school to fulfill their legal obligations. As an adult with disabilities, I was never afforded an IEP, which made my educational goals harder to achieve. My parents were full-time business owners, college students, and part-time employees until I graduated from high school. They were overwhelmed by the IEP process and had no time or resources to pursue it.

Getting students and parents the resources they need to pursue accommodations and support from their school and school district led me to create the IEP Blueprint – a state-specific guide to the IEP process, including how to request an IEP evaluation, how to enforce schools to participate, and templates for legal documents you may need at some point in the process.

My goal is to empower parents and guardians to fight for their children’s rights without breaking the bank.
